I assume the main reason that people don't go to Russia is due to the impression that its become the real life version of The Godfather. Worries about crime is certainly the main thing stopping me going, which is also true for Brazil.

However, I love art galleries. The description you provided is really tempting, so might have to overcome my natural wimpiness to make it out there.

Glad I finally followed the link from Aesopian: your blog is great, combining two of my favourite things, BJJ and travel. Hopefully you'll do another trip and update it! :D

It's Guy who used to train at Bristol. I was bored on facebook and came across this. It's awesome. Sounds like you are/will have an awesome time. I like the detail of the exercises as well. Muscle-up sounds sounds a bit like crossfit to me!!
I am training at SOAS. It's good, lots of purple belts.
